KeiShana is a women’s’ health professional who has lived in the world of childbirth since her own pregnancy, near seventeen years ago. Until recently she practiced as a midwife in the community, focusing on homebirth and primary unit birth, until crossing the bridge into Christchurch Women’s Hospital, catching babies on the Birthing Suite and in theatre.She knows intimately what it’s like to work in a highly stressful environment and has learnt how to approach pressure in a sustainable way for optimal health and well-being.  She’s been working with individuals and couples as a Coach now for more than a decade and has a special interest in trauma + PTSD however, often finds herself coaching in a wide range of settings. This allows her the privilege of walking alongside people as they return to whole health and wellness, then beyond into finding a new level of confidence, calm and Hau Ora (whole health).  Having co-created Opti-mum Antenatal Education, specialised in PTSD, trauma release (alongside generalised motivational sessions), as an NLP Master Practitioner + coach, the demand for her private work drew her out of the public health sector - where she continues to pour her passion into mind and body-based therapies. She is a yoga + mindfulness meditation teacher and hypnotherapist, educator and all round ‘Brain Witch’.   “I feel extraordinary privilege to be offering this change work in the community and abroad.
